Motor Yachts

A motor yacht is defined as an engine-powered vessel that features below deck accommodations including a place to sleep (berths), a place to prepare and store food (galley), and a private restroom (head). Most motor yachts have inboard diesel power driving V-drives or straight shafts, but can also have inboard gas engines or multiple outboard engines.

Often beaming with luxury, sport motor yachts offer varying degrees of privacy with master staterooms. You'll often find convenient amenities like galleys, summer kitchens, or wet bars. Some even offer flybridge helms for the best views of the water, which is popular among anglers. Known for their speed and ability to get to destinations quickly, sport motor yachts can reach speeds of over 30-knots. These vessels tend to be faster, but less efficient cruising yachts.
