SkipperBud's Aquapalooza Raft Up is July 25th 2010! Joining the party on Lake Mendota, sign up today at Aquapaollza.com. We have a live band that will play on a barge at Picnic Point, volley ball, water balloons, squirt guns and much more!
If you drystack your boat at SkipperBud¿s please contact the store no later than Thursday, July 22nd to schedule a launch time for the event. We will be launching the majority of boats on Saturday and using our courtesy slips so we can avoid some congestion on Sunday morning.
This will be the biggest party Lake Mendota has ever seen!! Our sign ups have increased year over year! The word is getting out about how much fun we are having on the Lake! If you are towing your boat to the lake you can launch it at any of the 4 Lake Mendota public launch ramps. You will not be able to put your boat in at SkipperBud¿s dealership. You must use one of the public launch ramps listed below.

It is free to launch your boat but it costs $8 to park your vehicle for the day. There are kiosks in the lots that take cash or credit cards. Once you are on the lake or for those of you not familiar with the area, Picnic Point is on the isthmus just West of the University Campus. Our raft up will be marked by huge Aquapalooza banners and SkipperBud's flags but if you still have trouble finding us we will be monitoring channel 72.
The live music will be courtesy of Midlife Crisis. They play a good mix of classic rock cover songs from the 60's and 70's so there should be something for everyone. The band will play from noon until 4:00 with a couple breaks in between.
