With the 2006 introduction of the 270 Cruiser, Monterey offered an attractive, somewhat less expensive alternative to similar 27-footers from Sea Ray, Regal, and Four Winns. In nearly every respect-styling, features, construction, etc.-the 270 compares well with her costlier counterparts. Built on a modified V hull with 18 degrees of transom deadrise, the layout makes good use of the limited space available on a small cruiser such as this.
