• The Quarterdeck Marina assumes no liability for the boats of its customers. BOATERS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF ADEQUATE LIABILITY INSURANCE TO THE MARINA PRIOR TO OCCUPYING THE SLIP.
  • Boat owners are liable for the repair or replacement of Marina facilities damaged by their boat whether the boat was under control of the Owner or not. 
  • All boaters who will have their boat out of the harbor overnight are asked to inform the office of the period of vacancy. The Marina reserves the right to use the slip in question for transient dockage at any time the harbor census shows the boat to have been out for 24 hours. 
  • No selling, advertising, or activities related to re-selling of boats by parties private or commercial is permitted within the marina except by written consent of the management. 
  • All vessels kept in the Marina must be seaworthy and capable of meeting all Coast Guard requirements for vessels of the type. The Marina reserves the right to remove any vessel deemed unseaworthy or hazardous to other boats, boaters or premises at the Owner's expense. 
  • Slips are leased for the boating season listed in the leasing contract. Renewal of a slip for upcoming years is the decision of Marina Management. Slip selection is the decision of the Marina Management, although all efforts will be made to accommodate the specific desires of individual boaters. Slip reassignment may occur at any time during the season. 
  • No carpeting, painting, bumpers, boxes or additional material of any kind may be installed or stored on docks. Only dock boxes by the Marina are allowed. Management will remove non-Marina dock boxes. Only Marina approved stairs are allowed on docks. 
  • Pets are to be exercised only in the marked areas. You are expected to clean up after your pets. Pets are to be walked on leashes. Pets are to be attended at all times. 
  • A slip is leased only to the Owner named on the leasing contract for the boat identified on the contract and lease does not transfer with the sale of the boat. 
  • No swimming within the Marina. 
  • No fishing from Marina docks, or while underway within the Marina area. 
  • All fish cleaning should be done at Sawyer Boat Landing. 
  • Boaters are responsible for transporting their garbage and other refuse to the receptacles provided. 
  • All boats shall be operated at "No Wake" speed within the Marina. 
  • During the hours of 7am to 10pm radio volume shall be maintained at a level not offensive to others. The period between 10pm and 7am are designated quiet hours in the Marina. Boaters will refrain from entertaining or using radios, etc. above decks after 11pm for the peace and comfort of all Marina tenants. 
  • Anyone wishing to live aboard a boat for longer than two weeks should apply to Marina Management. The Marina reserves the right to refuse permanent live aboard status. 
  • All grilling should be done in designated grilling area.
  • The only vessel to be in a slip is the vessel registered to the slip. Dinghies or other fun boats must be stored completely within the confines of the space leased or on the deck of your boat when not in use but cannot be stored on the docks. Do not store them in a vacant slip next to you. Management reserves the right to limit or restrict storage of additional vessels at its discretion. 
  • While the slip rental rates do include electricity, this inclusion allows only reasonable use. It does not include the unattended running of air conditioning or heating appliances. Owners who leave such appliances running while the boat is unattended, or whose usage is deemed by Marina Management to be in excess or expected reasonable use, will be assessed a surcharge for electricity. 
  • Only service companies who have provided evidence of insurance and who have been approved by Marina Management may work on boats located in the Marina. Owners or their immediate families may perform normal in-the-water maintenance on their boat. For a list of properly insured and authorized vendors, please contact Marina Management. 
  • Gas in portable containers is not allowed on the docks. 
  • Oil is not permitted in dock refuse containers. 
  • Carts are available to transport your gear to and from the boat. Please help each other by bringing an empty one with you when returning to the head of the piers. 
  • Chartering for hire is prohibited, except for those boats which are docked in the charter boat area and which have received written permission from Marina Management to operate a charter service from their slip. Additional rules apply to charter leases. 
  • Including, but not limited to, those commercial activities notated elsewhere in the rule, no commercial activity of any type is allowed within the Marina except with the written permission of Marina Management. 
  • In fall water lines will be shut off. These lines must be shut off before a freeze. Water lines will be turned on in spring when weather permits. 
  • Boats arriving before and staying later than contract period must have written permission from Marina Management. A transient fee will be assessed. 
  • Vessel length includes all additions, such as bowsprits, swim platforms, anchors, etc. Marina Management may measure vessel after occupancy. Boats deemed by Management to extend beyond acceptable slip limits will be assigned to a proper size slip, with the boat Owner being responsible for difference in slip fees. 
  • No part of boat may extend over dock walkway. Marina Management reserves the right to move and retie any boat tied in a way deemed unacceptable by Management for Marina safety. 
  • T-dock rental is by the foot and includes only the number of feet paid for. Additional small boats used, as dinghies must pay for dock footage used. Footage of T-dock not leased is available for permanent or transient assignment to other vessels. 
  • No roller-blading, roller-skating, skateboarding, bicycling, riding scooters or motorcycling is permitted on docks. 
  • Other rules, as required, may from time to time be issued and distributed to all boaters. 
  • ALL SLIP DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 
  • Whether conducted by the boat owner or a contractor, all major repairs - such as stripping, fiber glassing, and spray painting - will occur in designated work areas. Designated work areas include outside gravel areas and inside of the storage buildings. Sanding of vessels must only be conducted outside. 
  • Vacuum sanders can be rented from the service department for $10/day. Tarps are to be set up around and under the area of work. 
  • All maintenance debris is to be properly disposed of. Any toxic debris, such as anti-fouling paint shall be properly disposed of as a hazardous waste. 
  • Sanding near or on the water is prohibited. 
  • Sanding without using a vacuum sander is prohibited. 
  • Spray painting on or near the water is strictly prohibited. 
  • All spray painting should be done on land, and in a spray both or under tarp. 
  • Boaters are required to use oil absorbent materials in their bilge areas.
  • Discharge of sewage in the marina is strictly prohibited.
  • Feeding of waterfowl or water birds at SkipperBud's Marinas is not allowed.
  • Discharge of gray water into SkipperBud's Marinas is strongly discouraged. In addition, the use or soaps, shampoos/conditioners with no phosphorus or low phosphorus and cleaners that lack ammonia, bleach and lye are strongly encouraged.
  • After winter storage, discharging, otherwise known as the process of "blowing out" antifreeze into the marina is prohibited. Talk to the service/maintenance department for further information.
